وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَا وَافِدَةُ النِّسَاءِ إِلَيْكَ هَذَا الْجِهَادُ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى الرِّجَالِ ، فَإِنْ يُصِيبُوا أُجِرُوا ، وَإِنْ قُتِلُوا كَانُوا أَحْيَاءً عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ وَنَحْنُ مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ نَقُومُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَمَا لَنَا مِنْ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَبْلِغِي مَنْ لَقِيتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ أَنَّ طَاعَةَ الزَّوْجِ وَاعْتِرَافًا بِحَقِّهِ يَعْدِلُ ذَلِكَ وَقَلِيلٌ مِنْكُنَّ مَنْ يَفْعَلُهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ رِشْدِينُ بْنُ كُرَيْبٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have come to you as a representative of the women. Allah Almighty has made jihad obligatory upon the men. If they gain spoils, they are rewarded; and if they are martyred, they are alive with their Lord, being given provision. We women look after them, so what reward will we receive? The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Convey this message to every woman you meet: that obeying the husband and acknowledging his right is equal to that, and few of you are those who do it.
