Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him), a companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates: My mother used to send me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a gift, and he would accept it.
Ahmad recorded it.

On the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), Imam Ahmad also recorded this narration, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (he states): My sister used to send me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with something, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would accept it from me. The narrators of both these narrations are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) states: My mother sent me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a bunch of grapes, and I ate them myself. My mother asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Did Abdullah bring you a bunch? He said: No! After that, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me, he said: Good-for-nothing, good-for-nothing.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Hakam bin al-Walid, whom Ibn Adi mentioned in al-Kamil. He cited this hadith under him and said: I know this hadith from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) only as narrated by al-Hakam. This is the gist of his words. The remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at a place. A woman sent a goat to him through her son. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) milked it, then said: Take it to your mother. That woman drank it until she was satisfied. Then the boy brought another goat; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) milked it, then he said: Give this to Abu Bakr to drink! Then he brought yet another goat; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) milked it, and then drank its milk himself.
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Abi Layla, about whom there is criticism. Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla did not hear from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyidah Umm Kulthum bint Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) states: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: I have sent a robe (hullah) and some uqiyahs of musk as a gift to the Negus, but I think the Negus has passed away, and that gift will come back to me. If it comes back to me, it (the robe) will be yours. The narrator states: It happened just as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had said; his gift came back to him, so he gave each of his wives one uqiyah of musk, and gave the remaining musk and the robe to Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her).
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muslim bin Khalid al-Zanji, whom Yahya bin Ma'in and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while a group declared him da'if (weak). I know the mother of Musa bin Uqbah, and the remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih. The hadith of Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) will come later, in (the chapter on) his informing of unseen matters.
