Majma al-Zawaid 6724 — Sending a gift and when it becomes owned
وَلَهُ عِنْدَ أَحْمَدَ أَيْضًا ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيِّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ : كَانَتْ أُخْتِي تَبْعَثُنِي بِالشَّيْءِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - تُطْرِفُهُ إِيَّاهُ فَيَقْبَلُهُ مِنِّي .
وَرِجَالُهُمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَرِجَالُهُمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
On the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), Imam Ahmad also recorded this narration, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (he states): My sister used to send me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with something, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would accept it from me. The narrators of both these narrations are the narrators of the Sahih.
