Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) states: My mother sent me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a bunch of grapes, and I ate them myself. My mother asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Did Abdullah bring you a bunch? He said: No! After that, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me, he said: Good-for-nothing, good-for-nothing.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Hakam bin al-Walid, whom Ibn Adi mentioned in al-Kamil. He cited this hadith under him and said: I know this hadith from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) only as narrated by al-Hakam. This is the gist of his words. The remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
