Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him) set out with Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) towards Mina. Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) offered the Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and Fajr prayers there. Then they set out from Mina towards Arafat, and there he offered the two prayers. Then they remained standing until, when the sun had set, he brought him to Muzdalifah. They halted there and spent the night there. Then he related that he prayed as quickly as any Muslim could possibly pray. Then they set out from there towards Mina. He performed the stoning, slaughtered (the animal) and had his head shaved. Then Allah Almighty revealed to Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Follow the way of Ibrahim, who was upright (hanif), and he was not of the polytheists."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir through various chains, the narrators of some of which are the narrators of the Sahih. In some of its routes it is mentioned: A man came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "I am weak with regard to my mount and weak with regard to my family, so do you think I may leave early?" Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) arrived; he performed Tawaf of the House and performed the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, then he set out and offered the Zuhr prayer at Mina." After this, the narrator related a report similar to the previous one.

Every pathway of Mina is a place of sacrifice, and all the days of Tashriq are days of slaughter."

I am the helpless, the needy, the one seeking help, the one seeking refuge, the fearful, the one who confesses and acknowledges his sins. I ask of You as a destitute person asks, I implore You as a humbled sinner implores, and I call upon You as one who is fearful and blind calls, one whose neck is bowed before You, whose eyes flow with tears for You, whose body is humbled, and whose nose is rubbed in the dust before You. O Allah, do not make me wretched in my supplication to You, and be Kind and Merciful to me, O Best of those who are asked, and O Best of those who give."

Talib bin Salma bin Asim bin al-Hakam states: Someone from my family told me that he heard my grandfather say that on that day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Behold! Indeed, Allah Almighty looked at this gathering, accepted the good of the righteous among them, accepted the intercession of the righteous among them for the wrongdoers among them, and then pardoned them all."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains narrators whom I do not know.

Hadith Takhrij «
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No days are more excellent in the sight of Allah Almighty than the days of the first ten of Dhu al-Hijjah." The narrator says: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, are these (days) more excellent, or is jihad in the path of Allah for the same number of days more excellent?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These days are more excellent than jihad in the path of Allah for the same number of days, except for the one whose face becomes covered in dust in the earth (that is, the one who is martyred). And no day is more excellent in the sight of Allah Almighty than the day of Arafah. Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven and boasts before the inhabitants of the heaven about the inhabitants of the earth, and says: 'Look at My servants, dishevelled and covered in dust, reciting the Talbiyah aloud; they have come from every distant region, though they have not seen My mercy and they have not seen My punishment.' (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says:) I have not seen any day on which more people are freed from Hell than the day of Arafah."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Muhammad bin Marwan al-Uqayli, whom Yahya bin Ma'in and Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), though there is some criticism of him. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, except that he recorded these words: "The most excellent of days are the ten days." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Some hadiths regarding the excellence of the first ten of Dhu al-Hijjah will come later in the chapter on sacrifice, if Allah wills.
