Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: Among the supplications that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made during the Farewell Hajj were these words: "O Allah, You hear my speech, You see my place, and You know what I conceal and what I reveal; nothing of my affair is hidden from You. I am the helpless, the needy, the one seeking help, the one seeking refuge, the fearful, the one who confesses and acknowledges his sins. I ask of You as a destitute person asks, I implore You as a humbled sinner implores, and I call upon You as one who is fearful and blind calls, one whose neck is bowed before You, whose eyes flow with tears for You, whose body is humbled, and whose nose is rubbed in the dust before You. O Allah, do not make me wretched in my supplication to You, and be Kind and Merciful to me, O Best of those who are asked, and O Best of those who give."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and in it are the words: "the anxious, the fearful." Its chain contains Yahya bin Salih al-Ubulli, about whom al-Uqayli said: "Yahya bin Bukayr narrated munkar (denounced) reports from him." The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
