Abdullah bin Busr al-Hubrani narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him), the Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): when he had offered the Friday prayer, he would go out and make a round of the market, then come back to the mosque. He was asked: "Why do you do this?" He said: "I saw the leader of the Muslims doing it."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; the narrator Abdullah al-Hubrani was declared da'if (weak) by Yahya al-Qattan and called thiqah (trustworthy) by Ibn Hibban.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: In the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), two Eids coincided: the day of Eid al-Fitr fell on a Friday. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the people in the Eid prayer, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) turned his face toward them and said: "O people! You have attained good and reward. We will also offer Jumu'ah; whoever wishes to offer Jumu'ah with us may do so, and whoever wishes to go back to his family may go back."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as a narration of Isma'il bin Ibrahim al-Turki from Ziyad bin Rashid Abu Muhammad al-Sammak, and I have not found anyone who has given an account of either of them.

It is reported from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), concerning the fear prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): The people were ordered, so they put on their weapons. Then one group stood behind them, facing the enemy, and another group came and prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in one rak'ah; then they got up and went over to the group that had not prayed, and the group that had not prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and stood behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in one rak'ah, and then he concluded with the salam along with all of them. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had concluded with the salam, those people got up and went towards the enemy, and they all said the takbir and performed one ruku' and two prostrations; they did this after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had concluded with the salam.

Hadith Takhrij«أخرجه مسند البزار برقم: 866، وأخرجه البحر الزخار المعروف بمسند البزار 10 - 18 برقم: 8038»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on one of his military expeditions, and at Usfan he encountered the polytheists. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed Zuhr and they saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions bowing and prostrating, they said to one another: "If you attack them, they will not be aware of you until you are upon them." One of them said: "They have another prayer which is dearer to them than their families and their wealth, so be patient until the time of that prayer comes; then we will attack them all at once." So Allah Almighty revealed this verse: "And when you are among them and lead them in prayer" to the end of the verse. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed, all of them said the takbir with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then he bowed, and they all bowed with him. When he prostrated, the row nearest to him prostrated with him, while those behind it remained standing, facing the enemy. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished his prostration and stood up, the second row prostrated. Then they stood up, and the row that was next to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) moved back while those behind came forward, so that they were now next to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed, they all bowed with him; then he raised his head and they all raised their heads with him; then he prostrated, and those who were next to him prostrated with him, while the second row remained standing, facing the enemy. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished his prostration and sat down, those next to him also sat down, and the rear row prostrated; then they too sat down, and then all of them prostrated with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concluded with the salam, they all concluded with the salam. When the polytheists looked at them, some prostrating and some standing, they said: "They have been informed of what we intended." (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: This narration is mentioned in the Sahih and other books, but not in this wording.
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains al-Nadr bin Abd al-Rahman, who is agreed to be da'if (weak).

Abu al-Aliyah al-Riyahi narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) was in a quarter of Isfahan, and the people there did not have much fear at that time, but he wanted to teach them their religion and the Sunnah of their Prophet. So he arranged them in two rows: one group stood with him, carrying weapons and facing the enemy, and another group was behind it. He led those near him in one rak'ah; then they stepped back on their heels until they stood in the place of the others, passing between them, and the others stood behind him. Then Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) led the others in one rak'ah, and then he concluded with the salam. Then those who had been behind him stood up, and the others stood up too, and each prayed one rak'ah; then they concluded with the salam one after another. Thus the imam had two rak'ahs and the people one rak'ah each.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat in similar wording; the narrators of al-Mu'jam al-Kabir are the narrators of the Sahih.

Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Yahya al-Himmani, who has been criticised, but Ahmad declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
