Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: My intimate friend (peace and blessings be upon him) enjoined three things upon me, which I will never abandon, whether on a journey or at home: sleeping after having prayed witr, fasting three days of every month, and praying two rak'ahs after Jumu'ah. Later, Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) added the two rak'ahs of duha after the two rak'ahs following Jumu'ah. (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: This narration is recorded in the Sahih, except that it does not contain the words: "two rak'ahs after Jumu'ah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
