Sayyiduna Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I fear for you the misleading desires related to your stomachs and your private parts, and (I fear) the misguiding whims."
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it, and Tabarani in all three (of his Mu'jams); its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, because Abu al-Hakim al-Bunani, who narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him), has been identified by Tabarani, who said: From Abu al-Hakim, and he is Ali bin al-Hakim. Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and the authors of the Sunan have narrated from him.

Ghudayf bin al-Harith al-Thumali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Abd al-Malik bin Marwan sent for me and said: O Abu Sulayman! We have gathered the people upon two matters. Ghudayf (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: What are those two matters? Abd al-Malik bin Marwan said: Raising the hands on the pulpit on Friday, and giving lessons (or sermons) after the Fajr and Asr prayers. Ghudayf bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) said: In my view both of these are like your innovation, and I will not give you permission for either of them. Abd al-Malik bin Marwan asked: Why is that? Ghudayf (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No people introduce an innovation except that a Sunnah like it is taken away. So holding firmly to a Sunnah is better than introducing an innovation."
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Abu Bakr bin Abdullah bin Abi Maryam, who is munkar al-hadith (his narrations are rejected).
