وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ مَشَى إِلَى صَاحِبِ بِدْعَةٍ لِيُوَقِّرَهُ فَقَدْ أَعَانَ عَلَى هَدْمِ الْإِسْلَامِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ بَقِيَّةُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever walks to a person of innovation in order to honour him has helped in demolishing Islam."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Baqiyyah, who is da'if (weak).
