Sayyiduna Tamim al-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Everything that is obscure is forbidden, and there is no obscurity in the religion."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Husayn bin Abdullah bin Dumayrah, and there is agreement that he is da'if (weak).

Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Yazid bin Rabi'ah, and he is matruk (abandoned).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "It is my wish that there were a barrier between me and the people of Najran." (Perhaps the narrator says:) The reason for this is that they argued a great deal.
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, and the hadith he narrates is hasan (good).
