Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 700

Sayyiduna Tamim al-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Everything that is obscure is forbidden, and there is no obscurity in the religion."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Husayn bin Abdullah bin Dumayrah, and there is agreement that he is da'if (weak).
