وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ أَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ حِجَابًا مِنْ شِدَّةِ مَا كَانُوا يُجَادِلُونَهُ ".
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "It is my wish that there were a barrier between me and the people of Najran." (Perhaps the narrator says:) The reason for this is that they argued a great deal.
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, and the hadith he narrates is hasan (good).
