Sayyiduna Qabisah bin al-Mukhariq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me: "O Qabisah! Why have you come?" I said: "I have grown old and my bones have become weak, so I have come to you so that you may teach me something by which Allah Almighty will benefit me." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Qabisah! Every stone, tree or brick (made of clay) that you passed by sought forgiveness for you (because you have come to seek knowledge). O Qabisah! When you have offered the morning prayer, say three times: 'Subhan Allah al-'Azim wa bi-hamdihi' (Glory be to Allah the Magnificent, and praise be to Him); you will be protected from blindness, leprosy and paralysis. O Qabisah! Say: 'O Allah! I ask You for what is with You; pour Your bounty upon me, spread Your mercy over me, and send down Your blessings upon me.'"
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator who is not named.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever anyone goes out of his house, there are two banners at his door: one banner is in the hand of an angel and one banner is in the hand of Satan. If he goes out for something that Allah Almighty loves, the angel follows him with his banner, and he remains continuously under the angel's banner until he returns to his house. And if he goes out for something that angers Allah Almighty, Satan follows him with his banner, and he remains continuously under Satan's banner until he returns home."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Abd al-Rahman bin Abi al-Zinad, whom Imam Malik declared thiqah (trustworthy), while according to one report Imam Ahmad and Yahya bin Ma'in declared him da'if (weak).
