Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: I was walking with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through a date-palm orchard belonging to one of the people of Madinah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Hurayrah! Those who have much (wealth) will be ruined, except for the one who does like this, and like this, and like this. He said this three times. He joined both his palms and three times (gestured spending) to the right, to the left and to the front, and said: But such people are few. Then he walked on for a while, and then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Hurayrah! Shall I not guide you to one of the treasures of Paradise? I said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (It is reciting:) 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah, wa la malja'a min Allah illa ilayh' (Nothing can be done without the help of Allah Almighty, and there is no refuge from Allah Almighty except in Him alone). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) walked on for a while, and then he said: Do you know what the right of Allah Almighty over His servants is? I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The right of Allah Almighty over His servants is that the servants worship Him alone and do not associate anyone with Him as a partner; when they do that, it will be binding upon Allah Almighty that He not punish them. Imam Ahmad recorded this narration; Imam al-Tirmidhi recorded from it only the words 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah', and Imam Ibn Majah recorded through Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah this narration: "Those who have much will be the ones who have little."
The narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy) and athbat (firmly reliable).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: (Once) Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on a mount. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: What is the right of Allah Almighty over the servants? Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: His right over them (the servants) is that they (the servants) worship Him alone and do not associate anyone with Him as a partner. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you know what the right of the servants over Allah Almighty will be when they worship Him and do not associate anyone with Him as a partner? Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Their (the servants') right over Him will be that He admits them into Paradise. Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Shall I not go to the people and give them the glad tidings? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No! Leave them, so that they keep doing deeds.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). And Allah knows best.

Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: I was riding behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on a mount. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Hudhayfah! Do you know what the right of Allah Almighty over the servants is? I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That they (the servants) worship Him and do not associate anyone with Him as a partner. Then he said: O Hudhayfah! I said: Here I am, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you know what their right over Allah Almighty will be when the servants do that? I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That He forgives them.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). The narrator Simak bin al-Walid is a Tabi'i and thiqah (trustworthy), but I do not know whether he heard from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) or not.

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (in a Hadith Qudsi) this statement of Allah Almighty: "There are four things: one of them is for Me, (O servant!) one is for you, one is between Me and you, and one is between you and My (other) servants. As for the one that is for Me, it is that you worship Me and do not associate anyone with Me as a partner. As for the one that is binding upon Me (that is, the one that is for you), it is that whatever good you do, I will reward you for it. As for the one that is between Me and you, it is that the supplication will be from you and answering it will be upon Me. As for the one that is between you and My other servants, it is that you be pleased for them with the same thing that you are pleased with for yourself."
These are the words of the narration as recorded by Abu Ya'la; al-Bazzar also recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Salih al-Murri, who is da'if (weak), and there is also the tadlis (concealment in the chain) of the narrator al-Hasan in this narration.

Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says (in a Hadith Qudsi): "O son of Adam! There are three traits: one is for Me, one is for you, and one is between Me and you. As for the one that is for Me, it is that you worship Me and do not associate anyone with Me as a partner. As for the one that is for you, it is that whatever deed you do, I will reward you for it; and if I forgive, then I am the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. As for the one that is between Me and you, supplication is binding upon you, and answering it and giving are upon Me."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Humayd bin al-Rabi', whom several scholars declared thiqah (trustworthy), but he was a mudallis (one who practised tadlis), and there is weakness in him.

Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Sallam al-Tawil, who is matruk al-hadith (abandoned in hadith); I have not seen anyone who declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
