Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the Asr prayer, then from Asr until Maghrib, he gave us a sermon. Many people remembered it, and many forgot it. In this sermon, the Prophet ﷺ described events that would occur until the Day of Judgment. (At the beginning of the sermon) the Prophet ﷺ praised and glorified Allah Almighty, then said: The world is green and sweet; Allah Almighty will keep you in this world for some time. He will observe what deeds you perform. Beware! Stay away from the world, and stay away from women. Beware! The children of Adam have been created in different categories: * Some people are born believers, live as believers, and die in a state of faith. * Some are born disbelievers, live in disbelief, and die in disbelief. * Some are born believers, live in faith, but die as disbelievers. * Some are born disbelievers, live in disbelief, but their end is in faith. Beware! Anger is a coal that is kindled in the stomach of the son of Adam. Do you not see the redness of his eyes? And do you not see his flaring nostrils? When this condition arises in someone, he should cling to the earth. Beware! Among men, the best is the one who gets angry very late and forgives very quickly. And the worst person is the one who gets angry very quickly and takes a long time to calm down. If a person gets angry quickly and also forgives quickly, that is fine. If a person gets angry late and also calms down late, that is also fine. Beware! The best trader is the one who pays well and demands well, and the worst trader is the one who demands rudely and pays poorly. If someone pays properly but demands rudely, that is acceptable, and if someone pays properly and demands rudely, that is also acceptable. Beware! Whoever knows the truth should not be prevented from speaking it by the fear of people. Beware! Every traitor will have a banner on the Day of Judgment, its size corresponding to the extent of his betrayal. Beware! The greatest betrayal is betrayal of the ruler. Beware! The banner of the traitor will be on his back. Beware! The best jihad is to speak the truth in front of a tyrannical king. Then, when the sun was about to set, he said: Now, the remaining time of the world is as much as the remaining time of today. * * Ali bin Zaid bin Jud’an Qurashi is unique in narrating this hadith with these chains of transmission from Abu Nadhrah. While Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not transmit narrations from Ali bin Zaid.

Beware! Keep away from the world, and beware! Keep away from women. Do you not see the redness in his eyes? And do you not see his flaring nostrils? When this condition arises in someone, he should cling to the earth. Beware! Among men, the best is the one who gets angry very late and forgives very quickly. And the worst person is the one who gets angry very quickly and his anger lasts very long. If a person gets angry quickly but also forgives quickly, that is fine. If a person gets angry late and his anger also lasts long, that is also fine. Beware! The best trader is the one who pays well and demands well, and the worst trader is the one who demands rudely and pays badly. The one whose payment is correct but demand is rude is acceptable, and the one whose payment is correct but demand is rude is also acceptable. Beware! Whoever knows the truth, the fear of people should not prevent him from speaking the truth. Beware! Every traitor will have a banner on the Day of Judgment, its size corresponding to the extent of his betrayal. Beware! The greatest betrayal is betrayal of the ruler. Beware! The banner of the traitor will be on his neck. Beware! The best jihad is to speak the truth in front of an oppressive king. Then, when the sun was very close to setting, he said: Now, the remaining time of the world is as much as the remaining time of today. * * Ali bin Zaid bin Jud’an Qurashi is unique in narrating this hadith with these chains from Abu Nadhrah. While Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not transmit narrations from Ali bin Zaid.
