Ja'far bin Muhammad narrates from his father: We came to Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and I said: Tell me about the Hajj of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). In it, it says: Then Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the adhan and the iqamah, and he prayed Zuhr; then the iqamah was given and he prayed Asr, and he prayed nothing between them. Then he mounted, and when he came to Muzdalifah (meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)), he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed Maghrib and Isha with one adhan and two iqamahs.
(b) In Sahih Muslim it is recorded with this inserted (mudraj) into the hadith.
It is said that this portion of the hadith is mursal.

(c) Imam Abu Dawud (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Hatim erred in this long hadith.
