Sayyiduna Ziyad bin al-Harith al-Suda'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and gave the adhan for Fajr. Then Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came and was about to give the iqamah, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Bilal, the brother of Suda' has given the adhan, and whoever gives the adhan should give the iqamah."
It has a corroborating report from the hadith of Ibn Umar, in whose chain there is weakness.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was on one of his journeys when the time of prayer came. The people halted and looked for Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) but did not find him. Then a man stood and gave the adhan. Then Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came, and the people said: Another man has given the adhan. The people waited; then Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) wanted to give the iqamah, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Wait, O Bilal; the iqamah should be given only by the one who gave the adhan."
Only Sa'id bin Rashid narrated it, and he is da'if (weak).

Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Ansari narrates from his uncle, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him), that he saw the adhan in a dream; then he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him (peace and blessings be upon him) about it. He said: Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the adhan, and my uncle came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, I saw the dream, and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) is giving the adhan? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then you give the iqamah." So my uncle gave the iqamah.

Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Zayd narrates from his father, from his grandfather, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him (peace and blessings be upon him) how I had seen the adhan. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Teach it to Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), for his voice is stronger than yours." When Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the adhan, Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) was troubled; the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him, and he gave the iqamah.

In it, it says that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) was ill in those days, and the Ansar claim that had he not been ill, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would have made him the mu'adhdhin.
