أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: وَحَدَّثَنِي جَامِعُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ ثنا خَلَّادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَا: ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الصُّدَائِيِّ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَذَّنْتُ بِالْفَجْرِ فَجَاءَ بِلَالٌ يُقِيمُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا بِلَالُ إِنَّ أَخَا صُدَاءٍ أَذَّنَ وَمَنْ أَذَّنَ فَهُوَ يُقِيمُ " وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ ضَعْفٌ.
Sayyiduna Ziyad bin al-Harith al-Suda'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and gave the adhan for Fajr. Then Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came and was about to give the iqamah, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Bilal, the brother of Suda' has given the adhan, and whoever gives the adhan should give the iqamah."
