أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الْبَزَّارُ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَاكِهِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ، ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي مَسَرَّةَ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ النَّحَّامِ مِنْ بَنِي عَدِيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ: نُودِيَ بِالصُّبْحِ فِي يَوْمٍ بَارِدٍ وَهُوَ فِي مِرْطِ امْرَأَتِهِ فَقَالَ: لَيْتَ الْمُنَادِي يُنَادِي: وَمَنْ قَعَدَ فَلَا حَرَجَ، فَنَادَى مُنَادِي النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي آخِرِ أَذَانِهِ: وَمَنْ قَعَدَ فَلَا حَرَجَ وَذَلِكَ فِي زَمَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي آخِرِ أَذَانِهِ " تَابَعَهُ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فَلَمَّا قَالَ: الصَّلَاةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ النَّوْمِ قَالَ: وَمَنْ قَعَدَ فَلَا حَرَجَ.
Sayyiduna Nu'aym bin al-Nahham (may Allah be pleased with him), who was from Banu Adi bin Ka'b, said: The adhan for the morning prayer was called on a cold day while he was under his wife's wrap. He said: "If only the caller would also say: 'And whoever stays sitting at home, there is no blame.'" The mu'adhdhin of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called out at the end of the adhan: "Whoever stays sitting (at home), there is no blame." And this was in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
