أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أنبأ هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ: " تَمَتَّعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَنَزَلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ، فَلْيَقُلْ رَجُلٌ بِرَأْيِهِ مَا شَاءَ " أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ، وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ هَمَّامِ بْنِ يَحْيَى.
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We performed tamattu' with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Qur'an was also revealed concerning it; so now let whoever wishes say whatever he likes by his own opinion.
