Bayhaqi 10062 — The muhrim only pays compensation for animals
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، أنا الرَّبِيعُ، أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنا مُسْلِمٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: " لَا يَفْدِي الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الصَّيْدِ إِلَّا مَا يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهُ ".
Ibn Jurayj (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) that the person in ihram gives compensation only for the game whose meat is eaten.
