Bayhaqi 10006 — Collected chapters on the compensation for birds

Yusuf bin Mahik narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) concerning a man who shut his door on a pigeon and its two chicks; then he returned and they had died, so Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) fined him three sheep.
