«ويل للعرب من شر قد اقترب أفلح من كف يده»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near! Successful is the one who restrains his hand."

«ويل للذي يحدث فيكذب ليضحك به القوم ويل له ويل له»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Woe to the one who speaks and lies in order to make people laugh! Woe to him! Woe to him!"

«ويل للمكثرين إلا من قال بالمال هكذا وهكذا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Woe to those who amass much wealth, except the one who spends wealth like this and like this."

«ويل للنساء من الأحمرين: الذهب والمعصفر»

"Woe to women because of the two red things: gold and saffron-dyed clothing."

«ويلك! قطعت عنق صاحبك من كان منكم مادحا أخاه لا محالة فليقل: أحسب فلانا والله حسيبه ولا أزكي على الله أحدا أحسبه كذا وكذا إن كان يعلم ذلك منه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Woe to you! You have cut your companion's neck. Whoever among you must praise his brother, let him say: 'I consider so-and-so to be such, and Allah is the One who will take account of him, and I do not claim purity for anyone before Allah; I consider him to be such and such,' provided that he knows this about him."

«الوائدة والموءودة في النار إلا أن تدرك الوائدة الإسلام فتسلم»

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Witr is a duty upon every Muslim: whoever wishes may pray seven rak'ahs of witr, whoever wishes five, whoever wishes three, and whoever wishes may pray one rak'ah of witr; and whoever is overcome (unable) should pray it by gestures."
