«والشاة إن رحمتها يرحمك الله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"And the goat: if you show mercy to it, Allah will show mercy to you."

«والذي نفس محمد بيده إن على الأرض من مؤمن إلا وأنا أولى الناس به فأيكم ما ترك دينا أو ضياعا فأنا مولاه وأيكم ما ترك مالا فإلى العصبة من كان»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! There is no believer on earth but that I am the one with the most right to him among all people. So whoever of you leaves behind a debt or helpless dependants, I am responsible for him; and whoever of you leaves behind wealth, it will go to his paternal kin ('asabah), whoever they may be."

«والذي نفس محمد بيده إني لأرجوأن تكونوا نصف أهل الجنة وذلك أن الجنة لا يدخلها إلا نفس مسلمة وما أنتم في أهل الشرك إلا كالشعرة البيضاء في جلد الثور الأسود أو كالشعرة السوداء في جلد الثور الأحمر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise, for none shall enter Paradise except a Muslim soul, and among the idolaters you are only like a white hair on the hide of a black bull, or like a black hair on the hide of a red bull."

«والذي نفس محمد بيده لغفار وأسلم ومزينة وجهينة ومن كان من مزينة خير عند الله يوم القيامة من أسد وطيئ وغطفان»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! Ghifar, Aslam, Muzaynah and Juhaynah, and whoever is from Muzaynah, are better in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection than Asad, Tayy and Ghatafan."

«والذي نفس محمد بيده لمناديل سعد بن معاذ في الجنة أحسن من هذا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! The handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh in Paradise are finer than this."

«والذي نفس محمد بيده ليأتين على أحدكم يوم ولأن يراني ثم لأن يراني أحب إليه من أهله وماله معهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! A day will surely come upon one of you when seeing me, and then seeing me again, will be dearer to him than his family and his wealth together."

«والذي نفس محمد بيده ما أصبح عند آل محمد صاع حب ولا صاع تمر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! In the morning the family of Muhammad had neither a sa' of grain nor a sa' of dates."

«والذي نفس محمد بيده ما من عبد يؤمن ثم يسدد إلا سلك به في الجنة وأرجوأن لا يدخلها أحد حتى تبوءوا أنتم ومن صلح من ذرياتكم مساكن في الجنة ولقد وعدني ربي أن يدخل الجنة من أمتي سبعين ألفا بغير حساب»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! Any servant who believes and then keeps to the right course will be admitted into Paradise. I hope that no one will enter it until you and those of your offspring who are righteous have settled in dwellings in Paradise. And my Lord has promised me that seventy thousand of my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning."
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! Any servant who believes and then keeps to the right course will be admitted into Paradise. I hope that no one will enter it until you and those of your offspring who are righteous have settled in dwellings in Paradise. And my Lord has promised me that seventy thousand of my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning."
«والذي نفس محمد بيده لا يسمع بي أحد من هذه الأمة لا يهودي ولا نصراني ثم يموت ولم يؤمن بالذي أرسلت به إلا كان من أصحاب النار»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! Anyone of this Ummah who hears of me, whether Jew or Christian, and then dies without believing in the message with which I have been sent, will be among the people of the Fire."

«والذي نفسي بيده إن السقط ليجر أمه بسرره إلى الجنة إذا احتسبته»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The miscarried child will pull its mother by its umbilical cord into Paradise, provided she sought reward (from Allah) for its loss."

«والذي نفسي بيده إن الشملة التي أصابها يوم خيبر من المغانم لم تصبها المقاسم لتشتعل عليه نارا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The cloak that he took from the spoils on the day of Khaybar, which had not yet been reached by the distribution, is now blazing upon him as fire."

"والذي نفسي بيده لآنيته - يعني الحوض - أكثر من عدد نجوم السماء وكواكبها في الليلة المظلمة المصحية آنية الجنة من شرب منها ليس يظمأ آخر ما عليه يشخب فيه ميزابان من الجنة من شرب منه لم يظمأ عرضه مثل طوله ما بين عمان إلى أيلة ماؤه أشد بياضا من اللبن وأحلى من العسل "
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The vessels of this Pond are more numerous than the stars and planets of the sky on a dark, clear night. Its vessels are the vessels of Paradise; whoever drinks from it will never feel thirst again. Two channels from Paradise flow into it; whoever drinks from it will not feel thirst. Its width is like its length, from Amman to Aylah. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey."

«والذي نفسي بيده لأذودن رجالا عن حوضي كما تذاد الغريبة من الإبل عن الحوض»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! I will drive some men away from my Pond just as a stray camel is driven away from the watering trough."

«والذي نفسي بيده لأقضين بينكما بكتاب الله الوليدة والغنم رد عليك وعلى ابنك جلد مائة وتغريب عام وعلى امرأة هذا الرجم واغد يا أنيس على امرأة هذا فإن اعترفت فارجمها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! I shall judge between you two according to the Book of Allah: the slave-girl and the sheep are to be returned to you, and your son is to receive one hundred lashes and exile for one year, and the wife of this man is to be stoned. O Unays! Go to the wife of this man, and if she confesses, stone her."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! For one of you to take his rope and carry firewood on his back is better for him than to go to a man and ask him, whether he gives him or refuses him."

«والذي نفسي بيده لتأمرن بالمعروف ولتنهون عن المنكر أو ليوشكن الله أن يبعث عليكم عقابا من عنده ثم لتدعنه فلا يستجيب لكم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! You must enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, or else Allah may soon send upon you a punishment from Himself; then you will call upon Him and He will not answer you."

«والذي نفسي بيده لتسألن عن هذا النعيم يوم القيامة أخرجكم من بيوتكم الجوع ثم لم ترجعوا حتى أصابكم هذا النعيم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! You will certainly be asked about this blessing on the Day of Resurrection. Hunger drove you out of your houses, and you did not return until you had received this blessing."

" والذي نفسي بيده لقد هممت أن آمر بحطب فيحطب ثم آمر بالصلاة ليؤذن لها ثم آمر رجلا فيؤم الناس ثم أخالف إلى رجال فأحرق عليهم بيوتهم والذي نفسي بيده لويعلم أحدهم أنه يجد عرقا سمينا أو مرماتين حسنتين لشهد العشاء"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! I had resolved to order that firewood be gathered, then to order the prayer so that the call to prayer (adhan) is given for it, then to order a man to lead the people, and then to go myself to those men and burn their houses down upon them. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! If any of them knew that he would find a fat bone or two good hooves, he would certainly attend the Isha prayer."

«والذي نفسي بيده لوكنتم تكونون في بيوتكم على الحالة التي تكونون عليها عندي لصافحتكم الملائكة ولأظلتكم بأجنحتها ولكن يا حنظلة! ساعة وساعة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! If you remained in your homes in the same state that you are in when you are with me, the angels would shake hands with you and shade you with their wings. But, O Hanzalah, some time is for worship and some time is for worldly affairs."

«والذي نفسي بيده لولم تذنبوا لذهب الله بكم ولجاء بقوم يذنبون فيستغفرون الله فيغفر لهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! If you did not commit sins, Allah would take you away and bring a people who would commit sins, then seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would forgive them."

«والذي نفسي بيده لولا أن رجالا من المؤمنين لا تطيب أنفسهم أن يتخلفوا عني ولا أجد ما أحملهم عليه ما تخلفت عن سرية تغزوفي سبيل الله والذي نفسي بيده لوددت أني أقتل في سبيل الله ثم أحيا ثم أقتل ثم أحيا ثم أقتل ثم أحيا ثم أقتل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Were it not that some of the believing men would not be content to stay behind me, and I do not have mounts for them, I would not stay behind any expedition fighting in the path of Allah. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! I would love to be killed in the path of Allah, then brought back to life, then killed, then brought back to life, then killed, then brought back to life, then killed."
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Were it not that some of the believing men would not be content to stay behind me, and I do not have mounts for them, I would not stay behind any expedition fighting in the path of Allah. «والذي نفسي بيده ليأتين على الناس زمان لا يدري القاتل في أي شيء قتل ولا يدري المقتول في أي شيء قتل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! A time will surely come upon the people when the killer will not know for what he killed, and the one killed will not know for what he was killed."

«والذي نفسي بيده ليوشكن أن ينزل فيكم ابن مريم حكما مقسطا وإماما عدلا فيكسر الصليب ويقتل الخنزير ويضع الجزية ويفيض المال حتى لا يقبله أحد وحتى تكون السجدة الواحدة خيرا من الدنيا وما فيها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Soon the son of Maryam will descend among you as a just judge and a fair leader. He will break the cross, kill the swine and abolish the jizyah, and wealth will increase so much that no one will accept it, until a single prostration will be better than the world and everything in it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The son of Maryam will enter the state of ihram at Fajj al-Rawha' for Hajj or Umrah, or he will combine the two."

«والذي نفسي بيده ما أنزل في التوراة ولا في الإنجيل ولا في الزبور ولا في الفرقان مثلها - يعني أم القرآن - وإنها لسبع من المثاني والقرآن العظيم الذي أعطيته»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Nothing like it (Umm al-Qur'an, that is, Surah al-Fatihah) was revealed in the Torah, nor in the Injil, nor in the Zabur, nor in the Qur'an. It is the seven oft-repeated verses and the Mighty Qur'an which I have been given."

«والذي نفسي بيده ما من رجل يدعوامرأته إلى فراشه فتأبى عليه إلا كان الذي في السماء ساخطا عليها حتى يرضى عنها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! There is no man who calls his wife to his bed and she refuses him, except that the One Who is in the heaven remains displeased with her until he is pleased with her."

«والذي نفسي بيده لا تدخلون الجنة حتى تؤمنوا ولا تؤمنوا حتى تحابوا أولا أدلكم على شيء إذا فعلتموه تحاببتم؟ أفشوا السلام بينكم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not tell you of something which, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread the greeting of salam among yourselves."

«والذي نفسي بيده لا تذهب الدنيا حتى يمر الرجل على القبر فيتمرغ عليه ويقول: يا ليتني كنت مكان صاحب هذا القبر وليس به الدين إلا البلاء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The world will not come to an end until a man passes by a grave, rolls over it and says: 'Would that I were in the place of the occupant of this grave!' And it will not be religion that drives him to say this, but only affliction."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The Hour will not be established until wild beasts speak to human beings, and until the tip of a man's whip and the strap of his sandal speak to him, and his thigh informs him of what his family did after him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! None of you will be a believer until I am dearer to him than his father and his children."

«والذي نفسي بيده لا يؤمن عبد حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه من الخير»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! No servant will be a believer until he loves for his brother the good that he loves for himself."

«والذي نفسي بيده لا يؤمن عبد حتى يحب لجاره ما يحب لنفسه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! No servant will be a believer until he loves for his neighbour what he loves for himself."

« [*» ... يا أيها الناس من آذى عمي فقد آذاني فإنما عم الرجل صنو أبيه]
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people! Whoever harms my uncle has harmed me, for a man's paternal uncle is just like his father."

«والذي نفسي بيده لا يكلم أحد في سبيل الله والله أعلم بمن يكلم في سبيله إلا جاء يوم القيامة وجرحه يشخب اللون لون الدم والريح ريح المسك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Anyone who is wounded in the path of Allah, and Allah knows best who is wounded in His path, will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound gushing; its colour will be the colour of blood and its scent the scent of musk."

«والله إنك لخير أرض الله وأحب أرض الله إلي ولولا أني أخرجت منك ما خرجت»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By Allah! You are the best of Allah's lands and the most beloved of Allah's lands to me, and had I not been driven out of you, I would never have left."

«والله إني لأرجوأن أكون أخشاكم لله وأعلمكم بما أتقي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By Allah! I hope that I am the one among you who fears Allah the most and knows best what to guard against."

«والله إني لأستغفر الله وأتوب إليه في اليوم أكثر من سبعين مرة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By Allah, I say 'Astaghfirullaha wa atubu ilayh' (I seek forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance) more than seventy times a day."

«والله إني لأسمع بكاء الصبي وأنا في الصلاة فأخفف مخافة أن تفتن أمه»

"By Allah, I hear the crying of a child while I am in prayer, so I shorten the prayer, fearing that his mother may become distressed."

«والله لأن يلج أحدكم بيمينه في أهله آثم له عند الله من أن يعطي كفارته التي افترض الله عليه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By Allah, for one of you to persist in his oath and remain at odds with his family because of it is a greater sin in the sight of Allah than for him to pay the expiation that Allah has made obligatory upon him."

«والله لأن يهدى بهداك واحد خير لك من حمر النعم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By Allah, that a single man be guided through you is better for you than red camels."
