It is narrated from Sa'id bin Umayr; he said: I sat with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar and Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (al-Khudri) (may Allah be pleased with them), and one of them said to the other: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mention how far the sweat of a human being will reach, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(It will reach) to the lobes of his ears." And the other said: "The sweat will bridle him." And Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) gestured and drew a line from the lobe of his ear with his index finger (that is, he made it clear by marking it).
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: We went with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to visit a man suffering from fever. I placed my hand on him and said: By Allah! I have never seen, as today, a man hotter (with fever) than him. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about those who will be in even more intense heat (punishment) than him on the Day of Resurrection? It is these two riders who are turning their backs and going away." He (peace and blessings be upon him) meant, at that time, two men from among his companions.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, when Allah Almighty intends good for a servant, He hastens his punishment for him in this world; and when He intends evil for a servant, He withholds (the punishment of) his sin from him until He repays him in full on the Day of Resurrection."
