A man's dream of a green garden

It is narrated from Qays bin Ubad that he said: I was sitting in a circle in the mosque when a man entered. The people said: This is a man from the people of Paradise. He prayed and left, and I followed him and said to him: The people have said such and such (about you). He said: It is not permissible for anyone to lie or to say what he does not know, and I will tell you the reason for this. I saw a dream which I related to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I saw as though I were in a green garden (he described its vastness and its greenery), and in the very middle of the garden was a pillar of iron. A man came to me and said to me: Climb it. I said: I am not able to climb. He said: Then a servant came from behind me and supported me, and lifted me up along with my clothes. When I reached the very top of the pillar, there was a ring there, and I put my hand into the ring. When I woke in the morning, the ring was as though still in my hand. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said (interpreting it): "As for the garden, it is the garden of Islam; as for the pillar, it is the pillar of Islam; and as for the ring, you have taken hold of the firmest handhold (al-'urwah al-wuthqa), and you will remain steadfast upon Islam until you die."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim); had the name of the man in it been known, it would be sahih on the condition of both of them.

It is narrated from Yahya bin Abd al-Rahman bin Hatib that a group of believing women gathered with the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her). One of them said: By Allah, Allah will never punish me, for I gave my pledge to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that I would not associate anything with Allah, nor steal, nor kill my children, nor bring forth a slander that I have invented between my hands and my feet, nor disobey him in anything good, and I have fulfilled all of it. The narrator said: When she returned to her house, she was visited in her dream, and it was said: Are you the one who swears by Allah that He will not punish you? Then what about your involving yourself in matters that do not concern you, and your withholding what does not make you independent (of need)? She came back to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: In my dream I was told such and such, and I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him.
