It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has the financial means and does not offer a sacrifice, let him never come near our Eid prayer ground." And once he said (in these words): "Whoever finds the means and does not sacrifice, let him never come near our Eid prayer ground."
This hadith has an authentic chain (sahih al-isnad), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that (he said): "Whoever finds the means and does not sacrifice along with us, let him never come near our Eid prayer ground."
Abdullah bin Wahb narrated it as mawquf (as the Companion's own statement); however, an addition reported by a trustworthy narrator is accepted, and Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri is (a narrator of great standing) even above the level of trustworthy.
