أخبرنا الحسين بن الحسن بن أيوب، حدثنا أبو حاتم الرازي، حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد المُقرئ، حدثنا عبد الله بن عيَّاش، حدثنا عبد الرحمن الأعرَج، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال النبيُّ ﷺ: "مَن كان له مالٌ فلم يُضحِّ، فلا يَقرَبَنَّ مُصلَّانا". وقال مرةً: "مَن وَجَدَ سَعَةً فلم يَذبَحْ، فلا يَقرَبنَّ مُصلَّانا" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has the financial means and does not offer a sacrifice, let him never come near our Eid prayer ground." And once he said (in these words): "Whoever finds the means and does not sacrifice, let him never come near our Eid prayer ground."
This hadith has an authentic chain (sahih al-isnad), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(3) صحيح موقوفًا على أبي هريرة، وهذا إسناد ضعيف مرفوعًا من أجل عبد الله بن عياش، وسلف الكلام عليه برقم (3509).
Grading: This narration is sahih as mawquf on Abu Hurayrah, but as marfu' (attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) its chain is da'if (weak) because of Abd Allah bin 'Ayyash.

وأخرجه أحمد 14/ (8273) عن أبي عبد الرحمن عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it (14/8273) from Abu Abd al-Rahman Abd Allah bin Yazid al-Muqri', with this same chain.
