قال ابن عمر: وحدثني عبد الله بن نافع، عن أبيه قال: أوصَتْ أمُّ سَلَمة أن لا يُصلِّيَ عليها والي المدينة، وهو الوليدُ بن عُتبة بن أبي سفيان، فماتت حين دخلَتْ سنةُ تسعٍ وخمسين، وصلَّى عليها ابن أخيها عبدُ الله بن عبد الله بن أبي أمية (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Nafi' that he said: Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) had left instructions that the governor of Madinah should not lead her funeral prayer, and he was al-Walid bin Utbah bin Abi Sufyan. She passed away at the beginning of the year 59 AH, and her funeral prayer was led by her nephew Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Abi Umayyah.
أخبرني أبو عبد الله محمد بن علي بن عبد الحميد الصنعاني بمكة، حَدَّثَنَا إسحاق بن إبراهيم بن عبَّاد، أخبرنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا مَعمَر، عن الزُّهْريّ، عن هند بنت الحارث الفِراسية قالت: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "إِنَّ لعائشةَ مني شُعبة ما نزلَها (1) أحدٌ"، قال: فلما تزوَّج رسولُ الله ﷺ أمَّ سلمة، سُئِلَ رسولُ الله ﷺ فقيل: يا رسولَ الله، ما فعلت الشُعبة؟ فسكت رسولُ الله ﷺ، فعلِمَ أَنَّ أَمَّ سلمة قد نزلت عندَه (2).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Hind bint al-Harith al-Firasiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Aishah has a special place with me which no one has reached so far." She said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: O Messenger of Allah! What has become of that special place? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent, from which it was understood that Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) had also attained that same place with him (peace and blessings be upon him).
