It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) concerning the saying of Allah Almighty: "And We did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in play" [Surah al-Dukhan: 38], that he related that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked in how long the heavens and the earth were created. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty made Sunday the first of the days of creation. The creation of the earth took place on Sunday and Monday. The creation of the mountains, the making of the rivers flow, the planting of fruit-bearing plants in the earth, and the decree of the sustenance each land needs were done on Tuesday and Wednesday. 'Then He turned to the heaven while it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth: Come, both of you, willingly or unwillingly. They said: We come willingly. Then He completed them as seven heavens in two days and revealed to each heaven its affair' [Surah Fussilat: 11 - 12]; this completion took place on Thursday and Friday. The last work of creation was completed in the last moments of Friday. Then, when Saturday came, no new creation took place on it. Concerning that day the Jews said the (false) things they said, so Allah Almighty revealed this verse in refutation of them: 'And indeed, We created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days, and no weariness touched Us in the least.' [Surah Qaf: 38]"
Imam Abd al-Razzaq narrated this hadith from Ibn Uyaynah in mursal form, without mentioning Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas in it, whereas we have written it with a connected chain through this other narration. And Allah knows best.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man recited in his presence (while reciting the verse): 'Inna shajarat az-zaqqumi ta'amul-yatim' (Indeed, the tree of Zaqqum is the food of the orphan). Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) corrected him, saying: Say (it like this): "the food of the sinner" [Surah al-Dukhan: 44]. But that man (because of a stammer or error in his speech) kept reciting 'ta'amul-yatim'. Then Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) said (to make it easy for him): Say 'ta'amul-fajir' (the food of the wicked).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), and they did not record it.
