Reports that seventy thousand and seventy thousand will be killed in retribution for al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him)

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Allah Almighty revealed to your Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I destroyed seventy thousand people in return for (the unjust killing of) Yahya bin Zakariyya, and I will kill seventy thousand and (another) seventy thousand in return for your daughter's son (Sayyiduna Husayn, may Allah be pleased with him)."
Imam al-Hakim said: For a long time I used to think that al-Mismai was alone in narrating this hadith from Abu Nu'aym, until (the chain that follows).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both). Imam al-Hakim said: For a long time I used to think that al-Mismai was alone in narrating this hadith from Abu Nu'aym, until Abu Muhammad al-Sabi'i al-Hafiz narrated this hadith from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Najiyah, and he through Humayd bin al-Rabi' from Abu Nu'aym, with his chain, in the same way.
