Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Abdullah bin Khubayb narrates from his father, and he from his uncle (Sayyiduna Yasar bin Abdullah al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him)), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to them with traces of a ritual bath (ghusl) upon him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was in good spirits. We supposed that he (peace and blessings be upon him) had been with his wife. We said: "O Messenger of Allah! We find you in very good spirits." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and praise be to Allah." Then wealth was mentioned, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no harm in wealth for one who has taqwa (God-consciousness); and for one who fears Allah, good health is better than wealth; and good spirits are also one of the blessings of Allah."
This is a hadith of Madinan narrators with a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it; and the Companion whom Sulayman bin Bilal did not name is Yasar bin Abdullah al-Juhani.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khalid bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) gave help (to the fighters) with two horses on the day of the Battle of Hunayn, and both horses were lost. So he came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Both my horses have been lost." He (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him (wealth). He asked for more, and he gave him more. He asked for more again, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Hakim! Indeed, this wealth is green and sweet. Whoever asks people, they give to him, but the one who asks for it is like one who eats but is never full."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
