One who recites the Quran aloud is like one who gives charity openly, and one who recites it quietly is like one who gives charity secretly

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The one who recites the Qur'an aloud is like the one who gives charity openly, and the one who recites the Qur'an quietly is like the one who gives charity secretly."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You cannot turn to anything, in returning to Allah Almighty, that is better than that which came forth from Allah Himself," meaning the Glorious Qur'an.
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
