حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب إملاءً، حدثنا محمد بن علي بن مَيْمُون الرَّقِّي، حدثنا محمد بن يوسف الفِرْيابي، حدثنا يونس بن أبي إسحاق، عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن سعد، عن أبيه، عن جدِّه سعد بن أبي وقّاص، قال: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "دعوةُ ذي النُّون إذْ دعا وهو في بطن الحُوت: لا إلهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ، سبحانَكَ إِنِّي كنتُ من الظالمين، إنه لم يَدْعُ بها مسلمٌ في شيءٍ قطُّ، إلا استجابَ اللهُ له بها" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه. وقد رُوي عن الفِرْيابي عن سفيان الثوري عن يونس بن أبي إسحاق كذلك، وهو وهمٌ من الراوي:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The supplication of Dhun-Nun (Sayyiduna Yunus, peace be upon him) which he made in the belly of the fish (is this): 'La ilaha illa anta, subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin' (There is no god but You; You are glorified; indeed I have been of the wrongdoers). The fact is that no Muslim ever supplicates with these words for any purpose except that Allah Almighty answers his supplication."
This hadith has a sahih chain (sahih al-isnad), but the two Shaykhs did not record it. It has also been narrated likewise by al-Firyabi from Sufyan al-Thawri, but connecting it to Sufyan is an error of the narrator.

حدَّثَناه أبو عمرو محمد بن أحمد بن إسحاق العدل، حدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن عبد الله بن جُوروَيهِ (1) الرازي، حدثنا عمر بن الخطاب الأهوازي، حدثنا محمد بن يوسف الفِرْيابي، حدثنا سفيان، عن يونس بن أبي إسحاق، عن أبيه، عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن سعد، عن أبيه (2) قال: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "دعوةُ ذي النُّون إِذْ دعا وهو في بطن الحوت: لا إله إلَّا أنتَ سبحانك إنِّي كنتُ من الظالمين، لا يدعو بها رجلٌ مسلمٌ في شيءٍ قطُّ، إِلَّا استجابَ اللهُ له" (3).

فأخبرَناه أبو عبد الله الصَّفَّار، حدثنا ابن أبي الدُّنيا، حدّثني عُبيد بن محمد، حدثنا محمد بن مُهاجر القُرَشي، حدثني إبراهيم بن محمد بن سعد، عن أبيه، عن جدِّه قال: كنا جلوسًا عند رسول الله ﷺ فقال: "ألا أخبِرُكم بشيء إذا نزل برجل منكم كَرْبٌ أو بلاءٌ من بلايا الدنيا دعا به يُفَرَّجْ عنه؟ " فقيل له: بلى، فقال: "دعاءُ ذي النُّون: لا إله إلَّا أنتَ، سبحانَك إنِّي كنتُ من الظالمين" (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We were in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you of something which, when any severe hardship or trial of this world befalls one of you and he supplicates with it, his distress will be removed?" It was said: Certainly (please tell us)! So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is the supplication of Dhun-Nun (peace be upon him): 'La ilaha illa anta, subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin' (There is no god but You; You are glorified; indeed I have been of the wrongdoers)."
