أخبرنا أحمد بن جعفر القَطِيعي، حَدَّثَنَا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدَّثني أبي، حَدَّثَنَا يحيى بن سعيد، عن ثَوْر، عن راشد بن سعد، عن ثَوْبان قال: بَعَثَض رسول الله ﷺ سَرِيَّةً فأصابهم البردُ، فلما قَدِمُوا على رسول الله ﷺ أمَرهم أن يمسحوا على العصائب والتَّساخين (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه بهذا اللفظ، إنما اتَّفقا على المسح على العِمامة بغير هذا اللفظ (3). ولهذا شاهد:

Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dispatched a military detachment, and they were struck by severe cold. When they returned to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded them to wipe over their turbans and their foot coverings (things that keep the feet warm).

حدَّثَناه أبو النَّضْر الفقيه، حَدَّثَنَا عثمان بن سعيد الدارمي، حَدَّثَنَا أحمد بن صالح، حَدَّثَنَا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني معاوية بن صالح، عن عبد العزيز بن مُسلِم، عن أبي مَعقِل، عن أنس بن مالك قال: كان رسول الله ﷺ يتوضأُ وعليه عِمامةٌ قِطْريَّة، فأدخل يدَه من تحت العِمامة، فمَسَحَ مُقدَّمَ رأسِه ولم يَنقُضِ العِمامة (4). هذا الحديث وإن لم يكن إسنادُه من شرط الكتاب، فإنَّ فيه لفظةً غريبةً: وهي أنه مَسَحَ على بعض الرأس ولم يمسح على عِمامته.

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing ablution while wearing a Qatari turban on his head. He (peace and blessings be upon him) put his hand under the turban, wiped the front part of his head, and did not remove the turban.
Although its chain does not meet the conditions (of this book), it contains a rare expression: that he (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped part of his head and did not wipe over his turban.
