حدَّثَناه أبو النَّضْر الفقيه، حَدَّثَنَا عثمان بن سعيد الدارمي، حَدَّثَنَا أحمد بن صالح، حَدَّثَنَا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني معاوية بن صالح، عن عبد العزيز بن مُسلِم، عن أبي مَعقِل، عن أنس بن مالك قال: كان رسول الله ﷺ يتوضأُ وعليه عِمامةٌ قِطْريَّة، فأدخل يدَه من تحت العِمامة، فمَسَحَ مُقدَّمَ رأسِه ولم يَنقُضِ العِمامة (4). هذا الحديث وإن لم يكن إسنادُه من شرط الكتاب، فإنَّ فيه لفظةً غريبةً: وهي أنه مَسَحَ على بعض الرأس ولم يمسح على عِمامته.

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing ablution while wearing a Qatari turban on his head. He (peace and blessings be upon him) put his hand under the turban, wiped the front part of his head, and did not remove the turban.
Although its chain does not meet the conditions (of this book), it contains a rare expression: that he (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped part of his head and did not wipe over his turban.

(4) إسناده ضعيف لجهالة عبد العزيز بن مسلم - وهو المدني - وشيخه أبي معقل. ¤ ¤ وأخرجه أبو داود (147) عن أحمد بن صالح، بهذا الإسناد.
Grading: This chain is weak due to the unknown status (jahalah) of Abd al-Aziz bin Muslim al-Madani and his shaykh Abu Ma'qil.

والقِطْرية، بكسر القاف: نسبة إلى: قَطَر بفتحتين.
Note / Clarification: The word "al-qitriyyah" (with a kasrah on the qaf) is an ascription to "Qatar" (with a fathah on both the qaf and the ta').
