حدثني علي بن عيسى، حدثنا مُسدَّد بن قَطَنٍ، حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شَيْبة، حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، حدثنا كَهمَس بن الحسن، عن عبد الله بن شَقِيق قال: سألتُ عائشةَ: هل كان رسول الله ﷺ يقرأُ السورةَ في ركعة؟ قالت: من المفصَّل، قال: فقلت: أكان يصلِّي قاعدًا؟ قالت: حين حَطَمَه السِّنُّ (3).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه بهذا اللفظ، إنما أخرجه مسلم من حديث أيوب عن عبد الله بن شَقِيق عن عائشة: كان النبي ﷺ يصلِّي ليلًا طويلًا قائمًا، وليلًا طويلًا قاعدًا (1).

Abdullah bin Shaqiq relates: I asked Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite a whole surah in a single rak'ah? She said: From the Mufassal surahs. I asked: Did he (peace and blessings be upon him) pray sitting? She said: When old age had worn him down.
This hadith is sahih on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it with these words, whereas Imam Muslim recorded another narration with a similar meaning.

(3) إسناده صحيح. ¤ ¤ وأخرجه أبو داود (956) عن عثمان بن أبي شيبة، بهذا الإسناد. وفيه حين حطمه الناسُ.

وأخرجه كذلك أحمد 42/ (25385)، ومسلم (732) (115) من طرق عن كهمس بن الحسن، به -وهو عند أحمد مطول وعند مسلم مختصر بقصة الصلاة قاعدًا.

وأخرجه مختصرًا بقصة الصلاة قاعدًا: مسلم (732) (115)، والنسائي في "المجتبى" (1657)، وابن حبان (2527) من طريق سعيد الجريري، عند عبد الله بن شقيق، به.
