حدثنا أبو الفضل الحسن بن يعقوب العَدْل، حدثنا السَّرِيُّ بن خُزيمة، حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ. وأخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الصَّفّار وأبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ قالا: حدثنا بِشْر بن موسى، حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن المقرئ، حدثنا حَيْوة بن شُرَيح، أخبرنا أبو هانئ حُمَيد بن هانئ الخَوْلاني، أنَّ أبا علي الجَنْبي أخبره، أنه سمع فَضَالةَ بن عُبيد يُخبِر أنه سمع النبيَّ ﷺ يقول: "طُوبَى لمن هُدِيَ إلى الإسلام، وكان عيشُه كَفَافًا وقَنِعَ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، وبلغني أنه خرَّجه بإسناد آخر (2).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Fadalah bin Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Glad tidings (Tuba) are for the one who was granted guidance to Islam, whose livelihood was just sufficient for his needs, and who was content with it."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, and it has reached me that he recorded it through another chain.

(1) إسناده صحيح. أبو عبد الرحمن المقرئ: هو عبد الله بن يزيد، وأبو علي الجنبي: هو عمرو بن مالك.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri' is "Abd Allah bin Yazid", and Abu Ali al-Janbi is "Amr bin Malik".
وأخرجه أحمد 39/ (23944)، والترمذي (2349)، وابن حبان (705) من طريق أبي عبد الرحمن المقرئ بهذا الإسناد. وقال الترمذي: حديث حسن صحيح.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad 39/(23944), al-Tirmidhi (2349) and Ibn Hibban (705) narrated it by way of Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri' with this chain.
Grading: Imam al-Tirmidhi called it "hasan sahih".
وأخرجه النسائي (11793) من طريق ابن المبارك، عن حيوة بن شريح، به.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Nasa'i narrated it at (11793) with the chain Ibn al-Mubarak, from Haywah bin Shurayh.
وسيأتي برقم (7321) من طريق ابن وهب عن أبي هانئ الخولاني.
Important point: This narration will come later at number (7321) by way of Ibn Wahb, from Abu Hani' al-Khawlani.
(2) يشير إلى حديث عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص مرفوعًا: "قد أفلح من أسلم، ورُزق كفافًا، وقنّعه الله بما آتاه"، أخرجه مسلم برقم (1054).
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: This refers to the marfu' hadith of Abd Allah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both): "He has succeeded who accepted Islam, was given sufficient provision, and whom Allah made content with what He gave him".
Reference / Source: Imam Muslim narrated it at number (1054).
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
