أخبرَناه الحسن بن يعقوب العَدْل، حدثنا يحيى بن أبي طالب، حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن عطاء، أخبرنا سعيد، عن قَتَادة عن الحسن، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "لا تُقبلُ صلاةُ حائضٍ إلا بخِمَار" (4).
It is narrated from Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer of a woman who has reached puberty is not accepted without a head-covering."

(4) قوي بما قبله، وهذا إسناد مرسل. سعيد: هو ابن أبي عروبة، والحسن: هو ابن أبي الحسن ¤ ¤ البصري، تابعي وروايته عن النبي ﷺ مرسلة.
Grading: (4) It is strong because of the previous narration, but this chain is "mursal".
Technical note: Sa'id refers to Ibn Abi Arubah, and al-Hasan (al-Basri) is a Tabi'i, so his narration from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is mursal.
وأخرجه البيهقي 2/ 233 عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi (2/233) narrated it by way of Abu Abd Allah al-Hakim, with this same chain.
