حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بَحْر بن نَصر، حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني ابن أبي الزِّناد، عن أبيه، عن خارجةَ بن زيد بن ثابت، عن أبيه قال: لا تَرِثُ العمَّةُ أختُ الأب (1) للأبِ والأمِّ، ولا الخالةُ، ولا مَن هو أبعدُ نسبًا من المُتوفَّى (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

Kharijah bin Zayd bin Thabit narrates from his father that he said: "The paternal aunt who is the full sister of the father does not inherit, nor does the maternal aunt, nor anyone who is even more distant in lineage from the deceased than them."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(1) في النسخ: أختًا لأب، إلَّا في (ب) ففيها: أخت للأب.
Note / Clarification: In the manuscripts it is "ukhtan li-ab" (a paternal half-sister), except in manuscript (B), which has "ukht li-l-ab".
(2) إسناده حسن من أجل ابن أبي الزناد: وهو عبد الرحمن.
Grading: Its chain is "hasan" because of Ibn Abi al-Zinad ('Abd al-Rahman).
وأخرجه ضمن خبر الفرائض المطوّل: سعيد بن منصور في "سننه" (11)، وابن المنذر في "الأوسط" (6838)، والبيهقي في "السنن الكبرى" 6/ 213، وفي "معرفة السنن" (12534) من طريق عبد الرحمن بن أبي الزناد، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: It was narrated within the long report on inheritance shares by Sa'id bin Mansur in "al-Sunan" (11), Ibn al-Mundhir in "al-Awsat" (6838), and al-Bayhaqi in "al-Sunan al-Kubra" (6/ 213) and "Ma'rifat al-Sunan" (12534), via 'Abd al-Rahman bin Abi al-Zinad with this same chain.
