حدثنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق وعلي بن حَمْشاذ، قالا: حدثنا بشر بن موسى، حدثنا الحُمَيدي، حدثنا سفيان، حدثنا أبو إسحاق، عن الحارث، عن علي، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "إن أعيانَ بني الأمِّ يتوارثونَ دونَ بنى العَلَّات" (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Full siblings (sharing both mother and father) inherit from one another, to the exclusion of half-brothers (sharing only the father)."

(1) إسناده ضعيف من أجل الحارث: وهو ابن عبد الله الأعور. سفيان: هو ابن عيينة، وأبو إسحاق: هو عمرو بن عبد الله السبيعي.
Grading: Its chain is da'if (weak) because of al-Harith (Ibn 'Abdullah al-A'war).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Sufyan is Ibn 'Uyaynah, and Abu Ishaq is 'Amr bin 'Abdullah al-Sabi'i.
وهو في "مسند الحميدي" (55).
Reference / Source: It is in "Musnad al-Humaydi" (55).
وأخرجه أحمد 2/ (595)، والترمذي (2095) و (2122) من طريق سفيان بن عيينة، بهذا الإسناد. وقال الترمذي: هذا حديث لا نعرفه إلَّا من حديث أبي إسحاق عن الحارث عن علي، وقد تكلّم بعض أهل العلم في الحارث، والعمل على هذا الحديث عند عامة أهل العلم.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (2/ 595) and al-Tirmidhi (2095, 2122) narrated it via Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah with this same chain. Imam al-Tirmidhi said: "We know this hadith only from the hadith of Abu Ishaq, from al-Harith, from 'Ali; some scholars have criticized al-Harith, yet the practice of the generality of scholars is according to this hadith."
وسلف مطولًا برقم (8166).
Note / Clarification: This hadith has passed earlier in detail at number (8166).
