أَلْحِقُوا الْمَالَ بِالْفَرَائِضِ فَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ
Give the fixed shares to those entitled to them, and what remains goes to the nearest male relative

فأخبرَناه أبو يحيى السَّمَرقندي، حدثنا محمد بن نصر، حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى، أخبرنا سفيان بن عُيينة (2). وأما حديثُ ابن جُرَيج:
It is narrated from Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him), in mursal form, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Give the inheritance to those entitled to it, then whatever is left over from the fixed shares belongs to the nearest male."
