أخبرني أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله الحَضْرمي، حدثنا يحيى بن بشر الحَرِيري، حدثنا معاوية بن سلّام، عن يحيى بن أبي كثير، أخبرني أبو قِلابةَ، أن عبد الرحمن بن شَيْبة أخبره، أنَّ أُمّ المؤمنين عائشة أخبرته، أنَّ النبيَّ ﷺ قال: "إنَّ الصالحين يُشدَّدُ عليهم (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, trials are made severe upon the righteous."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناد صحيح أبو قِلابةَ: هو عبد الله بن زيد بن عمرو الجرمي، وعبد الرحمن بن شيبة هو ابن عثمان القرشي العبدري.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Identification of the narrators: 1. Abu Qilabah is Abdullah bin Zayd bin 'Amr al-Jarmi. 2. Abd al-Rahman bin Shaybah is (Abd al-Rahman) bin 'Uthman al-Qurashi al-'Abdari.
وأخرجه أحمد 42 / (25264) عن هشام بن سعيد، عن معاوية بن سلام، بهذا الإسناد مطولًا.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (42/ 25264) recorded it from Hisham bin Sa'id, from Mu'awiyah bin Sallam, with this same chain, at greater length.
