أخبرني الأستاذ أبو الوليد وأبو بكر بن قُريش، قالا: حدثنا الحسن بن سفيان، حدثنا عمار بن زَرْبي، حدثنا بشر بن منصور، عن شعيب بن الحَبحاب، عن أبي العاليَة، عن مطرِّف بن عبد الله، عن أبيه قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "أقِلُّوا الدُّخولَ على الأغنياء، فإنه أَخْرَى أن لا تَرْدَرُوا نِعَمَ اللهُ ﷿" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

Mutarrif bin Abdullah narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Reduce your visits to the wealthy, for it is more likely that you will not belittle the blessings of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده تالف، عمار بن زربي كذّبه أبو حاتم وعبدان الأهوازي، وقال العقيلي: الغالب على حديثه الوهم. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: يغرب ويخطئ.
Grading: Its chain is ruined (talif); 'Ammar bin Zarbi was declared a liar by Abu Hatim and 'Abdan al-Ahwazi.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-'Uqayli says: Error predominates in his hadith. Ibn Hibban mentioned him in "al-Thiqat" and said: He narrates unusual (gharib) reports and makes mistakes.
وأخرجه ابن عدي في "الكامل" 5/ 76، والبيهقي في "شعب الإيمان" (9806)، والشجري في "أماليه" 2/ 210، وأبو الحسين الطيوري في "الطيوريات" (854) من طريق الحسن بن سفيان، بهذا الإسناد. وقال ابن عدي: غير محفوظ.
Reference / Source: Ibn 'Adi recorded it in "al-Kamil" (5/76), al-Bayhaqi in "Shu'ab al-Iman" (9806), al-Shajari in his "Amali" (2/210) and Abu al-Husayn al-Tuyuri in "al-Tuyuriyyat" (854), through al-Hasan bin Sufyan, with this same chain.
Grading: Ibn 'Adi said: It is not preserved (ghayr mahfuz).
وأخرجه العقيلي في "الضعفاء" (1297) عن حجاج بن عمران السدوسي، عن عمار بن زربي، به. وقال عن عمار: الغالب على حديثه الوهم، ولا يعرف إلَّا به.
Reference / Source: Al-'Uqayli recorded it in "al-Du'afa'" (1297) via Hajjaj bin 'Imran al-Sadusi from 'Ammar bin Zarbi, in the same way.
