It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Atik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever snatches the wealth of a Muslim by means of his (false) oath, Allah has forbidden Paradise to him and made him deserving of Hell." It was said: O Messenger of Allah, even if it is something trivial? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if it is a single miswak (tooth-stick) of the pilu tree, even if it is a miswak."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it with this wording.
