(2). It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What do you think of the joy of a man whose mount runs away, dragging its reins, in a desolate land where there is neither food nor water, while all his food and drink are loaded upon it; he searches for it until he is exhausted, then the mount passes by the stump of a tree, its reins get caught there, and he finds it tied there?" We said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he would be extremely joyful." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, by Allah, Allah Almighty is more joyful at the repentance of His servant than that man at finding his mount."
