حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بَحْر بن نصر، حدثنا عبد الله ابن وهب، قال: وأخبرني الدَّرَاوَرْدي، عن رُبَيح بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي سعيد الخُدْري، عن أبيه، عن جدّه: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ ذَبَحَ كبشًا أقرن بالمُصلَّى، ثم قال: "اللهمَّ هذا عنِّي وعن مَن لم يُضحِّ من أُمّتي" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered a horned ram at the Eid prayer ground, then said: "O Allah, this is on my behalf and on behalf of those of my Ummah who have not offered a sacrifice."
This hadith has an authentic chain (sahih al-isnad), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن في المتابعات والشواهد من أجل ربيح بن عبد الرحمن. وأخرجه أحمد 17/ (11051) عن سعيد بن منصور، عن عبد العزيز بن محمد الدراوردي، بهذا الإسناد. وانظر تتمة تخريجه وشواهده هناك.
Grading: This hadith is sahih, and because of Rubayh bin Abd al-Rahman this chain is hasan in corroborating narrations (mutaba'at).
Reference / Source: Ahmad (17/11051) narrated it via Sa'id bin Mansur from al-Darawardi, with this same chain.
