حَدَّثَناه أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا أبو المثنّى، حدثنا مُسدَّد، حدثنا عبد الأعلى، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق، حدثنا يزيد بن عبد الله بن قُسَيط، عن سعيد ابن المسيّب، عن أمِّ سَلَمة زوجِ النبيِّ ﷺ، قالت: لأَن أُضحِّيَ بجَذَع من الضَّأْن، أحبُّ إليَّ من أن أُضحِّيَ بمُسِنَّة من المَعْز (3). وقد أُسنِد هذا الحديثُ عن أبي هريرة:
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: To sacrifice a jadh'ah (six-month-old lamb) of sheep is more beloved to me than to sacrifice a musinnah (two-year-old animal) of goats.

(3) خبر صحيح كسابقه، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل محمد بن إسحاق: وهو ابن يسار.
