أخبرَناه أبو جعفر محمد بن علي الشَّيباني بالكوفة، حدثنا أحمد بن حازم بن أبي غَرَزَة، حدثنا أبو غسَّان، حدثنا شَرِيك، عن محمد بن عَجْلان، عن أبيه، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله: "إذا كنتَ في المسجد، فلا تجعَلْ أصابعَك هكذا"؛ يعني: مُشبِّكَها (2).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you are in the mosque, do not hold your fingers like this (interlaced with one another)."

(2) شريك - وهو ابن عبد الله النَّخَعي - سيئ الحفظ، وقد وهمَ فيه كما قال المصنف. أبو غسان: هو مالك بن إسماعيل النَّهدي. وانظر ما قبله. Technical note / Defect ('illah): The narrator Sharik bin Abd Allah al-Nakha'i is "sayyi' al-hifz" (of poor memory), and, as the author (al-Hakim) said, he erred in it. Note / Clarification: "Abu Ghassan" refers to Malik bin Isma'il al-Nahdi. See also the previous discussion.
